AACSB Accreditation
The School of Management became an official member of AACSB in 2015, obtained EA in 2017, and passed iSER report in 2019. In 2020, it successfully submitted the Substantive Change Report, followed by the first progress report (Update Report) in 2020 and the second progress report in 2021. The final SER report was submitted in 2022. In 2023, the School earned initial AACSB accreditation. This achievement marks the School as the 48th institution in Mainland China and the first at a municipal university in Tianjin to achieve this distinction, placing it among the top 6% of business schools worldwide.
Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the largest business education network and global standard-setting body for business education. AACSB accreditation is recognized worldwide as the highest level of excellence a business school can achieve. To date, only 1,066 institutions across 70 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business, representing approximately the top 6% of schools offering business degree programs globally. Within Mainland China, 52 institutions have achieved this distinguished recognition.
